I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. My professional background also includes working in orthopedics, acute care, and med-surg settings, providing me with a comprehensive perspective on the intersection of physical and mental health. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, before continuing my education at Walden University, where I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in psychiatric and mental health nursing. In my practice, I focus on treating patients aged 12 and older, specializing in depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and panic disorders.
